JNT's Blanket

I am glad to say this blanket has a long story, because it's more fun that way!

The story begins in November of 2011. My in-laws, parents and sisters family, we're all affected by the large fire in Bastrop, Tx labor day weekend. To be frank, they lost everything. After this happened my MIL asked me if I would make them a blanket for their new home. Of course I said yes, thinking it would be a quick project and perhaps even done by Christmas. I searched countless websites looking for a pattern to make my own, I searched tons of stores for yarn that was just right(a big shout out to my sis-in-law for helping me with that!), and countless hours re-doing work I found unsatisfactory. In fact I had the entire center block done in a completely different green, and a completely different stitch! I couldn't let that slide so I put that one down and started over. Lo and behold, 3 months later I have finally finished their blanket! I hope that it lasts them for years to come. Enjoy!

Black w/ Red Heart Hats

Here's a couple cute hats that were worked up for a couple siblings.  The smaller size is a 0-3 month and the larger one is for 2-4 years.  They look adorable just laying there - imgine them on a couple of cute kids!!  This was a fun project to make - beanies are timeless, and being able to customize them with MOM and DAD was fun!

Prince and Princess Crowns

What better to adorn your little prince or princess than a cuddly crown?!  I love these crowns - they can be made in any size.  The two pictured are infant size, but they can be created for smaller heads (your cat!) or larger heads (you!).

Little Blue Dinosaur

My son Salix has been begging me for a crocheted T-Rex after I made his dad an Elephant.  I started this project MONTHS ago, and had to undo and redo about 100 times but here it is!

Camo Set

When my best friend found out that she was pregnant she asked if I would make her a baby blanket.  My answer was definetly "YES!"  When she found out that she was having a baby boy she knew they wanted camo and let me have the reigns on design.  I finished the blanket with months to spare so I decided to try out some other super cute ideas, and they worked!
